HORSE RIDING

|
|
|
Without doubt the best way to explore
the region is from horse back. A choice of rides are available ranging from
novice to experienced and can be tailored to meet exact requirements
dependant on whether you want a ride in the mountains, a longer hack through
the country side and on to the beach or a week long trek across the
mountains. The area is beautiful all year round but please note we recommend
avoiding July and August, as those months are usually too hot to ride.

and provides a great combination of challenge, exercise and relaxation. This
activity is suitable for all ages and is a great way for the family to do
something exciting and different together.

Abseiling
is fun! It is an exciting activity in itself. Abseils can be done from
outcrops, mountains, bridges and buildings. Windsurfing is all about fun.
There's nothing like skimming across the water at 30mph to give you an
adrenaline rush! But it's not all about speed. It is also a great stress
reliever and a sport that anyone can do and enjoy, no matter what their age
or level of fitness. It's also a very friendly sport, and no one cares how
good you are, although the theory is that if you don't end up in the water
you're not trying hard enough!

Mountain
biking provides multiple experiences in just one ride! It can take you from
hill foot farmland through pine forest rising to barren rocky peaks.
This is a perfect off-road adventure, with exhilarating descents, rivers and
waterfalls and fascinating wildlife. The efforts of mountain goats,
shepherds, Contrbandistas and forest management has perfected the Sierra
Nevada into a stunning array of trails from forest tracks to highly
technical gully descents. The remoteness of the trails and secluded forest
settings benefit this exhilarating yet tranquil experience.
