Situation

Club Tropicana is situated 40 minutes drive East of Malaga airport, 1 km from the very typical Spanish town of Nerja. Previously a fishing and farming community Nerja has rapidly become a favourite destination for the tourist who is looking for the real Spain. The resort is situated just across the road from a sandy beach and is surrounded by a horseshoe of mountains. There are an abundance of local and international restaurants and bars serving food from the authentic Spanish tapas to top class international cuisine.

Local Attractions

Nerja is famous for its caves, which are situated 2km from the town. These caves are a very popular tourist attraction with people travelling from all along the coast to see the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites formed in the limestone grottos. Concerts and ballets are also performed in the caves. Club Tropicana is in an ideal position for day visits to the Andalucian cities of Cordoba, Seville and Granada where the famous Alhambra palace is situated. In the winter the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are only 2½ hours away. There are many picturesque whitewashed Spanish villages surrounding Nerja seemingly unaltered for centuries.

Tropicana Bar & Restaurant

The bar with the friendly atmosphere, open daily from 10am til late, serving hot and cold snacks during the day, full evening menu. Weekly barbeque and entertainment!

Club Tropicana is on an urbanisation of typical Andalucian architecture with a large central pool, children’s pool, bar and restaurant surrounded by gardens which flower throughout the year.

ON SITE FACILITIES

The luxury furnished accommodation ranges from studio, one bed, two bed and three bed apartments. All with fully equipped kitchens including microwaves and washing machines. Cable television catering for many nationalities is standard to each apartment. The clubhouse near the pool has an all day restaurant serving bar snacks to evening meals with live entertainment. There is a sauna; Jacuzzi and gymnasium situated in the clubhouse for free use to members.
